Flamenco guitars have a neck of very lightweight Honduras Cedar and a top of spruce. Sides and back are made of cypress, wich is the classical wood for flamenco guitars, but we also use the locally grown cherry or maple. The sound quality of these woods seems almost identical to cypress. And of course we have "Guitarras Negras" made of Rosewood. The bracing follows the usual spanish principles and is designed to produce a brilliant, percussive Sound with deep and powerfull basses. It tolerates a relative humidity of air between 40% and over 90%. Besides these different woods there are also several types available:
With the Long-neck-model the solo player has the advantage of playing up to the 20. fret without twisting the hand.
